Gas Engineer

Service & Repair Engineer (PAYE) Location: Hammersmith & Fulham Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience) Job Type: Permanent Call Out: 1 in 4 Winter / 1 in 7 Summer We are currently recruiting for an experienced Service & Repair Engineer to join a well-established housing services provider covering Hammersmith & Fulham! This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Gas Engineer looking for a secure, long-term position with a strong package and plenty of earning potential. The Role You will be responsible for carrying out gas servicing and repairs across domestic properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Alongside servicing and repairs, the successful engineer will be expected to be flexible and willing to support with a variety of additional heating and plumbing works when required, including: * Gas runs and associated remedial works * TRV replacements * Radiator replacements and repairs * General heating-related works * Diagnosing and repairing boiler faults * Carrying out annual gas services and safety checks * Completing necessary paperwork and maintaining accurate records * Providing excellent customer service to residents * Working in line with Gas Safe regulations and company procedures Package * £38,000 – £45,000 basic salary, depending on experience * 1 in 4 call-out rota during winter * 1 in 7 call-out rota during summer * Standby payments provided * Payment for completed and incomplete call-out jobs * 21 days holiday + Bank Holidays * Company van * Fuel card * Gas analyser provided * Hand tools to be supplied by the engineer * Permanent, long-term position Requirements: * Full ACS qualifications including CKR1 + HTR1 * Proven social housing experience * Minimum of 5 years qualified in Gas * Proven domestic service and repair experience * Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Full UK driving licence (clean preferably) * Clean DBS * Good customer service and communication skills * Willingness to carry out a variety of heating-related works alongside core service and repair duties * Reliable, professional and able to work independently If you're an experienced Gas Engineer looking for a stable permanent role with a strong package and a varied workload, we'd love to hear from you
