Accounts Payable/Treasury Assistant

What you'll be doing
Processing supplier invoices and credit notes, ensuring correct coding and authorisation
Processing staff expense claims in line with company expense policy
Allocating and processing payments in accordance with agreed supplier terms
Uploading and processing large invoices into the accounting system
Reconciling supplier accounts, investigating discrepancies and debit items
Reviewing Goods and Non-Goods items on hold, including GRNI
Preparing and submitting monthly VAT and Intrastat returns accurately and on time
Responding to supplier queries promptly and professionally
Supporting cash collection and reconciliation across multiple payment types
Ensuring cash is accurately allocated and investigating variances where required
Responding to cash and till-related queries in a timely manner
We're looking for someone who
Has a solid understanding of Accounts Payable and Treasury/Accounts Receivable processes
Is highly accurate, with strong attention to detail
Is confident using Excel and Outlook in a finance environment
Takes a proactive, organised approach to managing tasks and deadlines
Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Builds strong working relationships through collaboration
Acts with integrity and maintains confidentiality at all times
Has a strong internal customer focus and a positive, problem-solving mindset
