We're partnering with a prestigious global professional services organisation that is investing heavily in cloud engineering, automation and emerging AI technologies.

This is an opportunity to join a dedicated Global Innovation function , operating outside the traditional IT structure, with a remit to design, build and deliver innovative technology solutions used across the business globally.
We're looking for an experienced Cloud / DevOps / Platform Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, building scalable infrastructure and exploring how emerging technologies can deliver real business value.

The Opportunity
You'll play a key role in developing the cloud infrastructure and engineering foundations that support a growing portfolio of innovation projects, including AI-powered applications and intelligent automation.

Working alongside engineers, architects and innovation specialists, you'll help turn new ideas and technical prototypes into secure, scalable, production-ready solutions.
This is a hands-on engineering opportunity offering genuine technical ownership, exposure to emerging technologies and the chance to influence how cloud platforms are designed and delivered.

What You'll Be Doing
Design, build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform .
Support the development and deployment of innovative applications, including AI, LLM and agentic AI solutions.
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and engineering workflows.
Work closely with innovation teams to move prototypes and proof-of-concepts into production.
Implement cloud security, reliability, monitoring and DevSecOps best practices.
Contribute to architectural decisions, engineering standards and platform improvements.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability and automation across cloud environments.
What We're Looking For

Essential experience:
Strong commercial experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or Platform Engineering.
Hands-on expertise with Azure and/or GCP (experience across both would be advantageous).
Strong practical experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
Experience designing, deploying and supporting cloud-based infrastructure.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation and modern software delivery practices.
Understanding of cloud security, infrastructure reliability and scalable architecture.
A proactive engineering mindset, comfortable taking ownership and solving complex problems.

Desirable experience:
Docker, Kubernetes or container orchestration.
Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, LLMs or emerging AI technologies.
GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tooling.
Experience supporting innovation, R&D or rapid-prototyping environments.
Experience working within large enterprise or professional services organisations.
