OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Verify the conformity of component parts and assemblies.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Inspect parts and assemblies in accordance with applicable data package requirements, using a range of measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers, and faro arms.
Inspect component parts to verify applicable machine tool set up processes,
Inspect component parts and assemblies in accordance with batch sampling requirements,
Complete formal First Article inspection activities,
Complete component and assembly testing in accordance with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP),
Process / complete non-conformance related documentation (when applicable),
Support inspection related tasks / activities at non Ipeco locations (when required),
Complete / authorise formal release certification (when required),
To adhere to Company policies and procedures,
To help create and maintain a safe working environment and observe the published Health and Safety procedures, and
To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Experience working within an engineering environment
Relevant experience in inspection activities
Ability to read engineering drawings in both Metric and Imperial units
Experience using a range of precision measuring equipment
Proficient on IT systems, including MS Office
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
Experience of Ipecos core manufacturing processes
Knowledge of quality standards (9001 Quality Management)
Proven experience working with SAP ERP or similar
Understanding and experience xwzovoh of First Article Inspection requirements
