Social Worker – Safeguarding Northamptonshire Children’s Trust | Wellingborough Full-Time Locum | Immediate Start | £38ph Umbrella SW Locums are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Safeguarding Team with Northamptonshire Children’s Trust in Wellingborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a child-focused and supportive service committed to achieving positive outcomes for children and families. The Safeguarding Team offers varied and rewarding frontline work, with strong management support and a collaborative multi-agency approach. Role Highlights * £38.00 per hour Umbrella * Full-time locum role * Immediate start available * Hybrid working – expected 3 days per week in the office * Flexibility for cross-county visits * Hot-desking available across Northamptonshire offices Duties Include * Managing safeguarding and child protection cases * Completing statutory assessments and visits * Working directly with children and families * Attending core groups, strategy meetings, and court work where required * Developing plans that deliver long-term positive outcomes Requirements * Social Work England registration * Previous Children’s Safeguarding experience * Strong assessment and communication skills * Ability to work confidently in a busy frontline environment Why Work with SW Locums?
