A top 10 accounting firm is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join its Peterborough team. This is a senior client-facing position responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, overseeing compliance and advisory work, providing technical guidance and developing strong client relationships. The successful candidate will also play an important role in managing and developing the wider tax team, identifying opportunities for additional work and contributing to the continued growth of the tax offering.

Role Responsibilities

• Manage a large portfolio of corporate tax clients, including complex companies and groups.
• Review complex corporation tax returns and larger group tax computations.
• Provide technical advice and support on complex corporate tax matters.
• Manage ongoing tax advisory projects across your client portfolio, with support from senior colleagues where required.
• Research complex technical issues and provide well-reasoned conclusions.
• Attend pre-year-end and completion meetings with clients.
• Review final tax packs and transmittal letters for more complex clients and approve work for issue.
