Production Manager

Overview

We are recruiting a Production Manager to join our small close‑knit team at A Play, A Pie and A Pint.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the PPP team across artistic, producing, design and technical departments to realise the work of A Play, A Pie and A Pint, utilising practical, hands‑on, and creative problem‑solving skills to help drive the company forwards.
• Coordinate and liaise with venue and company stakeholders and play a vital role in the delivery of shows.
• Provide line management for stage managers and carpenters.

Person Specification

Enthusiastic and highly motivated individual with a keen understanding of the PPP context, who will relish its unique environment and the challenges and opportunities it presents. Accomplished production coordinator/manager with a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar role, in‑depth knowledge of production processes and a commitment to developing the organisation and supporting the work of artists in Scotland and beyond.

Contract & Salary

2‑year contract beginning Monday 3rd August 2026 with a 3‑month probationary period and a possible extension, funding dependent. Full‑time salaried post with an annual salary of £34,000, paid monthly in arrears. Normal working hours are 10am‑6pm Monday‑Friday, with some weekend and out‑of‑hours working as required. The role operates across two sites – our rehearsal studio and workshop at 162‑166 Bath Street in the centre of Glasgow and at the venue Òran Mór, Top of Byres Road, G12 8QX.
