Freight Coordinator Reports to: Operations Manager Location: Hybrid (1 day WFH) Salary: Up to £35,000 + Bonus We're working with a globally established logistics and supply chain organisation to recruit a Freight Coordinator into their growing team. Full training will be provided, making this a strong opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career within freight forwarding. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating international and domestic air, ocean, and road freight (imports & exports) Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and company processes Handling customs clearance and providing consultancy support Preparing multi-modal freight quotations Liaising with overseas clients, partners, and agents Completing shipping documentation (airwaybills, bills of lading, CMR notes) Managing GRNs and coding purchase invoices Preparing sales invoices and maintaining accurate e-filing systems Supporting supplier negotiations to ensure value for money and service quality Assisting with month-end financial processes Maintaining high standards of health & safety and compliance Performance Measures Success in this role will be measured through: Accuracy of bookings, quotations, billing, and conversions Effective job control delivered on time and within budget High-quality client communication and job tracking Adherence to HMRC regulations, Incoterms, and internal processes Positive feedback from clients and internal teams About You Minimum 2 years' experience in freight forwarding or airline handling operations Knowledge of HMRC systems and customs processes Strong organisational and communication skills Competent with Microsoft Office Commercial awareness and attention to detail Minimum Maths & English (or equivalent) WR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
