Maintenance Engineer. Birmingham, West Midlands. Manufacturing Business. £46,000 + overtime + benefits. Shift Pattern: Double Days - 6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Monday – Friday) / Weekly Rotation (37.5 hours per week) A well-known and highly successful manufacturing business based in the centre of Birmingham are searching for an enthusiastic Maintenance Engineer to join their experienced team. Keeping machinery running is the name of the game! This role will suit an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer who enjoys working as part of a multi-skilled team within a stimulating, technically challenging environment! Role Description. * Planned and reactive maintenance engineering across all automated production line machinery. * Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair. * Working on invertors, PLC’s, motors, PSU’s. * Reading electrical schematics / drawings. * Overhauling machinery and installing new equipment. * Conducting all work within H&S parameters. * Working alongside a cross-sectional team of skilled engineers. Skills and Qualifications * Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineering experience (ideally electrically biased). * Qualified to Level 3+ in electrical engineering. * Ability to perform both planned and reactive maintenance. * PLC Fault Finding skills (desirable). * Manufacturing industry experience.
