THE ROLE • Carry out the disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of rotating equipment, with a primary focus on pumps • Diagnose faults and identify root causes of equipment issues to support effective repairs • Work to agreed deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship • Ensure all tasks are completed in line with company procedures and relevant industry standards • Assist in compiling detailed service and inspection reports for customers • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes • Contribute to a busy service department handling a wide range of equipment from a global customer base • Participate in team-based and cross-functional activities as required THE PERSON • Time-served fitter or engineer with relevant industry experience • Proven background in the servicing, assembly, and repair of pumps and rotating equipment • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, varied environment • Flexible approach to work, with willingness to support overtime when needed • Reliable, honest, and committed to delivering high-quality work • Team player with good communication skills and a proactive attitude TO APPLY Please send your updated CV to Harry Mann or apply direct by calling Westray Recruitment Group
