Supply Teaching Assistant – EYFS, KS1 & KS2

Location: Preston, South Ribble, Leyland, Chorley, West Lancashire & Blackburn with DarwenPay: £14.25 per hourContract: Flexible supply / short-term / long-term opportunities

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work or longer-term roles within primary education? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants with experience across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 to work with a variety of primary schools across Lancashire.

About the Role

  • Support class teachers with the delivery of lessons
  • Work with small groups and on a one-to-one basis
  • Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide support for pupils with additional needs, where required
  • Opportunities for day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term placements

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
  • Experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
  • A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
