HLTA - Alternative Provision (No Qualification Required) Location: Cheltenham Salary: £100 - £120 per day Contract Type: Maternity Cover (ASAP Start) - Potential to Stay On Job Description Are you an experienced practitioner with a passion for supporting young people with SEN, SEMH, or those who thrive in alternative provision settings? We're looking for a confident, adaptable HLTA‑level practitioner to join a specialist school in Cheltenham on a maternity cover contract, with the potential for a longer‑term role. You do not need an HLTA qualification - strong, relevant experience is what matters most. What We're Looking For SEN & SEMH experience - confident supporting pupils with additional needs, behavioural needs, or emotional regulation challenges. Alternative provision background - or similar experience in PRUs, nurture groups, specialist settings, or high‑needs environments. Adaptability - able to support across KS3-KS4 with small groups or 1:1. Resilience - calm, consistent and able to build trust with learners. No formal HLTA qualification needed - your experience is what counts.
