Ductwork Project Manager London & South East | Full-time | Permanent £60,000 – £70,000 + company van & fuel card or car allowance + expenses + bonus + training allowance + wfh Some project management roles are heavily administrative. This is not one of them. This is a hands-on delivery position within a long-established HVAC and ductwork contractor that has built a strong reputation across hospitality, leisure and retail fit out projects throughout the UK. The business has been operating for decades, remains privately owned, and has developed a very loyal repeat-client base through consistent delivery and long-term relationships. The projects themselves are varied, fast paced and heavily client facing. One week you could be delivering a high-end restaurant fit out in Central London, the next coordinating ventilation works within a premium retail outlet, theatre refurbishment or new leisure venue. Most projects range between £100k and £2m and require someone capable of keeping programmes moving without losing control of quality, communication or commercial performance. The company is continuing to grow steadily and has invested heavily into strengthening its operations over the last few years. Because of that growth, they are looking for a Ductwork Project Manager who can take ownership of projects from pre-start through to handover and become a key part of the delivery team long term. The role will be split between office time in Hertfordshire, project sites across London and the wider UK, and home working following probation. Travel is genuinely part of the role, so this will suit someone who enjoys variety and does not want to spend every day sitting behind a desk. What the role will involve * Managing multiple ductwork and HVAC projects simultaneously * Coordinating labour, subcontractors, materials and site activities * Acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout project delivery * Producing and managing RAMS, project documentation and progress reporting * Carrying out regular site visits to monitor programme, safety and quality * Managing variations, quotations, budgets and commercial performance * Working closely with internal teams including design and operations * Problem solving on live projects whilst maintaining programme momentum * Building strong client relationships to support repeat business What they are looking for * Previous experience as a Ductwork or HVAC Project Manager * Strong understanding of ductwork installation and mechanical building services * Ideally someone who has come up through the tools as a duct fitter, HVAC engineer or similar * Experience delivering fast-paced fit out or refurbishment projects * Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously * Strong communication and client-facing skills * Organised, commercially aware and capable of working independently * Flexible approach to travel and working patterns What is on offer * £60,000 – £70,000 salary depending on experience * Company van & fuel card or car allowance * Expenses package * Bonus structure * Training allowance and continued development support * Hybrid working following successful completion of probation * Long-term progression within a growing business * Stable pipeline of repeat-client projects across hospitality, leisure and retail This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys delivery-focused project management and wants to work within a business where relationships, quality and trust still matter.
