I am partnering with a growing software company based in South Manchester/London, who are looking for a HR Generalist to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of HR responsibilities while taking ownership of the payroll process.
The Role
Reporting into the People Lead, you'll play a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on payroll accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Leading the end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Maintaining and updating HR systems, ensuring employee data is accurate and up to date
Managing contract changes, including salary updates, promotions, and working pattern adjustments
Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and exit administration
Handling day-to-day HR administration and employee queries
Ensuring compliance with internal policies and employment legislation
Producing HR reports and supporting audits where required
Collaborating with finance and external payroll providers (if applicable)
HR Generalist duties including ER
About You
Proven experience in a HR/People and Payroll-focused role
Confident managing payroll processes with strong attention to detail
Highly proficient with HR systems and payroll software
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable handling sensitive xwzovoh data with discretion
A proactive and collaborative approach
