Class 2 HGV Driver

Temp to Perm Position! Immediate starts available! The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Class 2 (Category C) HGV Driver for a well‑established transport operation based locally. This is a temp to perm position, offering the opportunity for a permanent role following a successful trial period. The role involves curtain‑side work, operating Monday to Friday with early start times from around 3:00am onwards. There may be a requirement to work the odd weekend, depending on business needs but this is not a regular thing. The Role: Class 2 curtain‑side deliveries Regional or nationwide runs depending on route Use of curtains and load restraint (manual handling involved) Start times from approximately 3am Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work Temp to perm opportunity Requirements: Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience Licence held for a minimum of 2 years Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Curtain‑side experience preferred Good understanding of drivers' hours and WTD Reliable, professional attitude with good customer‑facing skills What's on Offer: Weekly Pay!
