Development Technologist * Are you a creative NPD professional who loves turning a customer brief into a working recipe? * Do you thrive on hands-on concept and recipe development, from bench through to customer sample? * Are you ready to own product concepts from initial brief through to launch within a leading food manufacturer? MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading FMCG Business on the search for a Development Technologist. This is a permanent role based in Somerset. Key Responsibilities * Leading the NPD concept and recipe development stage, working closely with customers to fully understand the brief. * Managing kitchen equipment, ingredients and stock to enable sample preparation for customer submission. * Building and maintaining new product files, including initial project and EPD information. * Ensuring recipes meet customer codes of practice and nutritional targets. * Supporting complaint investigations where formulation may be a contributing factor. What are we looking for? * A food-related qualification or degree, plus at least 3 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment. * Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and meet tight deadlines. * HACCP L2/3 qualified or working towards it. * A confident communicator with solid Excel and IT skills, and a genuine interest in food.
