People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Crick .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and long-term stability within a supportive environment.
This position will suit applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver.
Shifts:
•  Monday to Friday: start times between 07:00 and 15:00
•  Sunday to Thursday: start times between 19:00 and 01:00
Ad hoc shifts initially
Rates of Pay:
•  Days – £17.92 per hour (basic)
•  Days Overtime – £24.55 per hour (after 48 hours)
•  Nights – £19.95 per hour (basic)
•  Nights Overtime – £25.44 per hour (after 48 hours)

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a HGV Class 1 Driver , your duties will include (but are not limited to):
•  Depot-to-depot trunking
•  Operating and driving various Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently
•  Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
•  Ensuring all cargo is loaded and secured safely
•  Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a HGV Class 1 Driver , you will need:
•  Valid UK Category CE driving licence
•  Minimum of twelve months' Category CE driving experience
•  No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)
•  Valid UK Driver xwzovoh CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
Desirable Experience
•  Previous commercial HGV driving experience
Training:
•  Driver assessment must be completed prior to starting and then industry related training and support provided throughout
