Are you a Welder with an NVQ Level 3 or similar looking for a stable, permanent role offering a good work life balance split between workshop and field-based work with uncapped overtime to increase your overall earnings?
Since the 2010s this company have been manufacturing a range of pipework solutions across multiple industries, including infrastructure sectors such as water, gas, and oil.
In this role, you will split your time evenly between the workshop and site work. In the workshop, you will carry out fabrication using machinery such as band saws, press brakes, and guillotines, as well as MIG and TIG welding on materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and copper. On-site, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining fabricated products such as pipework systems, railings, and gantries from Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm.
This role would suit a Welder with an NVQ Level 3 looking to progress into a varied position offering unlimited overtime at enhanced rates and external training to develop your skills.
The Role
MIG and TIG welding
Fabricating using workshop machinery
Installing and maintaining pipework systems and structures on-site
50/50 workshop and field-based work
Overtime paid at enhanced rates (40+ hours)
External training provided
The Person
Welder or similar background
NVQ Level 3 in Welding/Fabrication (or equivalent)
Full UK driving licence
Able to commute to Rugby
