Our client, a prominent entity in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Ground Integration Trials Lead to play a vital role in the Land Ceptor project. This permanent position offers the successful applicant an exciting opportunity to work alongside various customers and industry partners within the UK and on export contracts.Key Responsibilities:Taking ownership of test artefacts to ensure requirement coverage and maintain configuration controlLeading a small team in conducting ground integration test events and reviewing the results generatedReporting on test progress and producing formal result reports for the qualification periodPlanning trials with stakeholders to demonstrate integration and gather evidence to qualify Land Ceptor from a Ground Trials perspectiveFacilitating events with stakeholders, including external test housesLiaising with systems engineering and design teams to acquire adequate trials data and resolve design issuesSupporting safe trials by developing and maintaining risk assessments, and managing hardware and software assetsUnderstanding security implications within the trial environmentJob Requirements:Our client is looking for an engineer with the following skills:Good verbal and written communication skillsExperience communicating with a wide and varied range of engineering and management stakeholdersExperience working within a large team, across multiple sites and departmentsExperience with ground-based integration and proving, particularly in Trundle, EMC, Interoperability, and Thermal trialsExperience in configuration management and defect reportingExperience in these areas would also be beneficial, though formal and on-the-job training will be available:Basic understanding of network/cable assembly drawingsFault finding and root cause analysis at subsystem integration levelExperience in customer-facing rolesBenefits:Company bonus based on performanceMaximum pension contribution of up to 14%Opportunity for paid overtimeUp to 15 additional Flexi Leave daysFlexible working arrangements welcomedEnhanced parental leave policiesFantastic site facilities including subsidised meals and free car parkingHealthcare Cash Plan for everyday healthcare expensesIf you are a skilled engineer with expertise in systems integration and EMC testing, ready to take on a dynamic role within the Defence & Security sector, we would like to hear from you.
