If yes, then read on!We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to help shape enterprise data capabilities for our clients. You will define and maintain data domains, information structures, modelling standards and transition designs that connect business outcomes to governed, implementable data solutions. This role is suited to someone who can advise client stakeholders, lead a small team or workstream and remain close enough to delivery to ensure architecture decisions are practical and adopted.Responsibilities- Contribute to data strategies, principles, target architectures and transition roadmaps aligned to business outcomes- Define and maintain business-aligned data domains and conceptual, logical and physical models, including canonical, analytical, shared and reference-data patterns- Translate business requirements into data architecture designs, data products, contracts and interoperability guidance- Apply and improve enterprise data standards while maintaining architecture models, decisions and traceability within enterprise repositories- Support data ownership, stewardship and federated governance approaches, clarifying global and domain decision rights- Embed data quality, metadata, lineage, classification, privacy, traceability and auditability into architecture and delivery- Shape shared-identifier, master-data and reference-data approaches for defined domains or workstreams- Shape data migration and modelling transition approaches, including source-to-target mapping, reconciliation, dependencies, coexistence and phased cutover- Work with platform and solution architects to translate domain and logical models into implementable cloud schemas, pipelines, lakehouse, warehouse and integration patterns- Lead small teams or workstreams, communicate trade-offs to client stakeholders and mentor architects, analysts and engineersEssential skills- Proven experience (5+ years) in enterprise or domain data architecture, information architecture, data modelling and delivery- Experience defining data domains and conceptual, logical and physical models that align business concepts with technology implementation- Experience applying canonical, analytical, shared and reference-data patterns appropriately rather than forcing one model across every use case- Experience contributing to data strategies, principles, standards, target states and transition roadmaps- Strong understanding of data ownership, stewardship, data products, contracts and federated governance in enterprise environments- Experience applying data management disciplines including governance, data quality, metadata and lineage, with emphasis on traceability and auditability- Experience designing data architectures that meet regulatory, privacy, security, classification and retention requirements- Experience supporting data migration or system modernisation, including source-to-target mapping, reconciliation, quality controls, coexistence and cutover planning- Understanding of how domain and logical models translate into physical cloud implementations, including schemas, pipelines, integration, lakehouse and warehouse patterns- Ability to work across business and technology teams and explain modelling, governance and implementation trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences- Experience leading a small team or workstream and delivering agreed outcomes to time, cost and quality expectations- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks, resolve ambiguity and identify pragmatic solutions- Experience supporting and mentoring architects, analysts or engineers- You will be required to hold active SC clearance for this role.Desirable skills- Public sector or regulated industry experience (government, healthcare, financial services or similar)- Knowledge of modern cloud data platforms and Spark-based ecosystems, such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Snowflake or equivalent- Experience supporting domain-oriented lakehouse, warehouse or data-product implementations- Experience with master-data management, shared identifiers and reference-data governance- Working knowledge of TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture frameworks- Awareness of relevant industry data, interoperability and messaging standards- Familiarity with data modelling and architecture tools and repositories- Familiarity with SQL and data serialisation or interface formats- Data management or architecture certification, such as CDMP, DCAM or TOGAF- Cloud platform architecture certification, with a data specialism beneficial- Experience using AI or Agentic techniques in application of the role through GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or equivalent.Benefits Along with a great company culture, Credera provides an exceptional compensation package including a competitive salary (65,000-95,000) and a comprehensive benefit plan.Our consistent growth over the years and entrepreneurial environment, provides an excellent platform to embark upon an exciting career path, where your contribution really counts, and we will recognise it.
