Control, Electrical & Instrument Design Engineer Hourly Rate: £48/hour Umbrella Location: Birchwood Park, Cheshire, WA3 Hybrid Working Job Description for Control, Electrical & Instrument Design Engineer: As part of our multi-discipline Engineering team, you'll not only be able to get involved with a huge variety of projects across multiple sites, but you'll also have lots of opportunity to drive them through from start to finish

Main Responsibilities for Control, Electrical & Instrument Design Engineer: Deliver CE&I design support to project deliverables to agreed timescales.
Deliver CE&I design work to recognised internal, national, and international standards.
Deliver CE&I design deliverables such as drawings, reports, calculations.
Provide CE&I technical support to the construction / commissioning teams.
Provide CE&I input to design estimates.
Attend and support design reviews, HAZOPS and Project feedback.
Essential Criteria for Control, Electrical & Instrument Design Engineer: Degree in Electrical Engineering discipline or closely related subject.
Experience of working in a design environment in Nuclear or other regulated industry.
Ability to self-manage and work within a multi-discipline projects team.
Experience of working within a structured design process.
Experience working in the nuclear sector, together with a working knowledge of Engineering Standards and Site License Conditions.
Ability to obtain SC level security clearance (this includes but is not limited to identity, employment, financial and criminal record checks plus 5 years' worth of UK residency).
Desirable Criteria for Control, Electrical & Instrument Design Engineer: Experience of working on Sellafield projects or on site.
Knowledge and experience in producing CE&I supporting calculations to relevant industry design standards i.e.
EU directives, British Standards.
Working Knowledge of BS:7617 and designing fixed installations.
Knowledge of Electrical OM / AMTECH, Relux / Dialux software.
Working knowledge of control panel design. xwzovoh
Working knowledge of instrumentation and design.
Capable of designing safety related systems to BS EN 61508, BS EN ISO 13849-1.
Knowledge and experience in the development of systems and components designated as safety equipment to BS EN 61508, BS EN ISO 13849-1.
