This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Product Manager with the equivalent domain Head in Technology, to lead a domain of Product Managers and Business Analysts to complete the transformation of compliance platforms, and the transformation to a modern data platform to enable the businesses strategy in navigating a challenging and evolving regulatory landscape in the UK & Europe. Transaction monitoring for AML and reducing fraud Screening of accountholders and payment counter parties Driving financial crime operational efficiencies with a new tool to give a 360-accountholder view and case management processes. Addressing regulatory reporting and audit demands on time Paytech issue products for its agents under Paytech's own e-money licence, overseen by the UK & Belgium regulators. Management of the Compliance domain where PPS is undergoing a businesstransformation in terms of:Transaction monitoring for fraud prevention and AMLScreening of accountholders (both users and businesses & UBOs) and payee & payersAccountholder database as a centralise function for all cardholderrecords in terms KYC, screening outputs & risk scoring360view of accountholder and case managementRegulatory reporting where requirements can vary between regulatorsLeading the product domain cross functional team from a business perspectiveResponsible for leading innovation in the domainCollaborating with stakeholders, clients, potentially regulators and internal departments to capture business requirements.Prioritising the backlog with a focus on maximising value and adhering to regulations Accountable toHead of Product – Compliance, Data & FinanceResponsible for 1-2 peopleExperience & Knowledge Requirements Must be a self-starter, to progress new features with the team without the need to be micro-managed or drip fed. Prioritise product domain backlogs and ensure wider strategic deliverable are completed on timeDesigning standard functionality wherever possible and considering the wider needs (rather than a single client)Experience of working closely with Business Analysts and Developers in a collaborative wayExperience with procuring and managing third party productsExperience of operational process improvementsDriving and owning new solutions & continuous improvementFamiliar with Agile and Scrum methodologiesCan assess & carry out data analysis to make better informed decisions.Working with the product domain cross functional teams to: Capture and document clear user stories or standard feature overviewCapture estimates for roadmap and sprint planningPrioritise the backlog to deliver and a focus on adding value to the businessPackage the service for in terms materials for clients, operations and client delivery team to roll out the featureWhere required support and address impediments outside of the teamGive the development teams clear business context and measurable business objectives to motivate and get but in to deliver on timeRationalising the business case to prioritise the backlog in line with Paytech's strategy, including: New features Fixing or optimising existing elements Operational improvements including security, monitoring and visibility into the health and behaviour of the domain. Understand business cases and be able to arbitrate between requests, challenging where appropriate with relevant data Support other team members to achieve company objectives along with promoting a positive collaborative atmosphere. Independently managing the implementation of requirements from shaping through to build, acceptance testing and rollout end-to-endMonitor development delivery while identifying, challenging and overcoming delays and obstaclesRemoving impediments and minimizing disruption to maximise development efficiencyPlanning, effort estimations, and status reporting Core skills & behaviours Product mindsetBalance continuous improvement & operational optimisations, with client requirementsManage several requests and parallel work streams encompassing IT and ancillary activitiesPositive attitude and outlook, determined, enthusiastic and resilientStrong communication and interpersonal skills with teams both onshore and offshoreAbility to emphasise with clients and & internal users to better understand their needs and pain points.Work independently with agreed remit and autonomyHighly organised, with experience of working within an agile environmentClear concise reporting, outlining key pointsAnalytical mind-set and can evaluate the business case/valueComfortable being a bridge between the technical and business worldsTechnical skills a plus: Able to construct SQL to retrieve data from databases, understanding source code and software development lifecyclesForeign languages a plus: Spanish, Portuguese or FrenchAdditional Information Paytech currently operates a hybrid working model between home and office working.
