The work offers exposure to a range of compliance activity and the chance to contribute to a function that plays a central role in how the organisation operates.Main responsibilitiesSupport the compliance team with day-to-day regulatory and control activitiesAssist with compliance monitoring and testing programmes and document the resultsPrepare and maintain compliance reports, management information and trackersHelp review, update and maintain compliance policies, procedures and supporting documentationSupport the handling of regulatory queries, attestations and certificationsAssist with onboarding checks, due diligence and related client or counterparty reviews where requiredLog, track and follow up on compliance issues, breaches and remediation actionsRespond to queries from business teams and escalate matters to senior colleagues as appropriateSupport audit and regulatory review requests by gathering and organising evidenceContribute to wider compliance projects and process improvementsRequirementsEssentialPrevious experience in a compliance, risk, regulatory or control support role within financial servicesWorking knowledge of UK financial services regulation and the role of the FCA and PRAStrong attention to detail and accurate record keepingGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and work to deadlinesCompetence with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and WordDesirableExperience within an investment banking or wider capital markets environmentFamiliarity with compliance monitoring, surveillance or KYC and AML processesA relevant compliance or regulatory qualification, or progress towards oneExperience supporting audit or regulatory reviewsThe offerThis is an interim role based in London.
