HGV Class 1 Steel Driver – Kingswinford People Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Steel Driver to join our well-established client based in Kingswinford, West Midlands .

This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a LGV Class 1 Driver , Category CE Driver , or Articulated Lorry Driver .

Shifts: • Monday to Friday • Start times between 04:00 – 07:00 Rates of Pay: • £17.50 – £19.00 per hour (DOE) Benefits: As a HGV Class 1 Steel Driver , you will receive: • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • On-site canteen • Immediate starts available • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties: As a HGV Class 1 Steel Driver , your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Delivering steel products (previous steel experience is mandatory) • Operating and driving Class 1 (Category CE) vehicles safely and efficiently • Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensuring all loads are loaded and secured correctly • Adhering to traffic laws and regulations • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management • Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo as required Essential Skills: As a HGV Class 1 Steel Driver , you will need: • Valid UK Category CE driving licence • A minimum of 18 months' experience driving Category CE vehicles • Valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences and no major endorsement codes • Good spoken and written English • Punctual with excellent time-keeping • Good understanding of traffic xwzovoh laws and regulations • Effective communication skills • Mandatory previous experience working with and transporting steel Desirable Experience: • Previous experience driving commercial vehicles Training Provided: • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout Apply: If you are ready to take on this opportunity as a HGV Class 1 Steel Driver , please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
