Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.
If you're sharp on analysis but don't want to get lost in a back-room reporting function, this one's worth a look — it offers a lot more range than the title might suggest.
Fidarsi are running a Lead Analyst search for a well-regarded, data-led advisory business in financial services. They work with senior leaders across major global institutions, helping them make sharper decisions through benchmarking, performance insight and commercial analysis that actually gets used.
The role sits within a specialist team covering areas such as e-trading, market data, procurement and wider market infrastructure. The work carries real weight — large datasets, complex client questions, visible outputs, and regular face-time with senior stakeholders.
What makes it worth a second look is the mix. This isn't a pure numbers role. They need someone who can take messy data, find what it's actually saying, structure a clear answer, and hold a credible conversation with a client about what it means for their business.
What you'll be doing
- Leading analysis across a portfolio of benchmark reports, client projects and product development work
- Turning large, complex datasets into clear, commercially useful insight
- Working directly with clients to understand the problem behind the question and deliver something genuinely useful
- Holding your own in client conversations, not just supporting from the back
- Juggling multiple workstreams at once without letting quality or communication slip
- Feeding into the broader growth of the product offering — spotting gaps, proposing new angles
What they're looking for
- Around 3–5 years' experience in consulting, financial services, market data, benchmarking, research or a similarly analytical environment
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint as a baseline
- SQL and Power BI would be a genuine plus
- A solid grasp of financial services, with the ability to get fluent in the detail quickly
- Someone analytical, articulate and commercially switched-on
- A combination of data capability and client-facing confidence — not one without the other
- Curiosity and initiative — someone who spots opportunities and pushes work forward without needing to be pointed at it
Who this is likely to suit
- A consultant xwzovoh who wants more ownership and depth than their current project structure allows
- Someone in a financial services or market data role who's ready for more client exposure and broader problem-solving
- A strong analyst who's realised they want more visibility, influence and commercial edge than their current seat gives them
Why this one stands out
- A high-profile client base
- A genuine blend of analysis, stakeholder interaction and commercial thinking
- A flat, capable team where good people get noticed fast
- Exposure to both established products and newer growth areas
- Built for someone who wants a career, not just a stream of reports to hand off
If you're the kind of analyst who enjoys both working the answer out and talking a client through it, this is worth exploring.
