Finance Manager – Property Management | Dolphin LivingSalary: £55,000 – £60,000Location: Victoria, LondonHybrid working: 3 days per week in the officeContract type: Full time, permanentGoodman Masson is delighted to be partnering exclusively with Dolphin Living to appoint a Finance Manager – Property Management.This is a newly created opportunity within a growing finance team, offering an Accountant the chance to take ownership of property financial performance while developing their experience across management accounting, cost accounting and property finance.The OpportunityReporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll be the key finance contact for property management costs, working closely with Asset Management, Customer Services and external managing agents.You’ll go beyond traditional month-end accounting by analysing property costs, challenging financial information, supporting budgets and forecasts, and providing insight that helps the organisation make better financial decisions.You’ll be responsible forOwning the financial management of Dolphin Living’s property portfolio, acting as the main finance contact for property management costs and external managing agentsPrepare and deliver monthly management accounts and property performance reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, accruals, reconciliations and variance analysisAnalyse and challenge property and service charge costs, ensuring expenditure is accurate, appropriately allocated and aligned to budgetLead property-by-property budgeting, working closely with the Financial Controller, Asset Management, and Customer Services teamsDevelop and oversee project cost reporting, monitoring operational and capital expenditure and working with budget holders to identify and address potential overspendsSupport the wider finance function, including year-end, statutory accounts, VAT, covenant reporting and improvements to financial analysis and reporting.About Dolphin LivingDolphin Living is a London-based affordable housing organisation with 800+ homes across nine London boroughs, with a further 300 homes in the pipeline.Their mission is to provide high-quality, affordable homes for working Londoners, helping people live closer to where they work while creating stable communities across the capital.As the organisation continues to grow, so does its finance function.
