Vehicle Development Technician

Workshop / Vehicle Development Technicians - Basildon, Essex We are currently recruiting experienced Workshop / Vehicle Development Technicians to support tractor development and testing for a leading agricultural vehicle manufacturer based in Basildon. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, modify and maintain development tractors Remove, install and modify driveline and powertrain components Support vehicle testing and engineering activities Diagnose and repair mechanical faults Complete technical reports and document test results Work closely with test engineers while following health & safety proceduresRequirements: Strong mechanical fitting or vehicle technician experience Experience with driveline, transmission or powertrain systems Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to read technical documentation and complete reports Full UK driving licence Right to work in the UK Good level of spoken and written EnglishDesirable: Agricultural, commercial vehicle, HGV, construction equipment or off-highway machinery experience Prototype/development workshop experience CANalyzer/CANcase or vehicle instrumentation experienceHours: Monday-Thursday: 07:00-16:00 Friday: 07:00-12:00 Overtime and Saturday work available depending on workload.To apply, please send your CV to
