Electrical Construction Manager - Data Centre Projects

Reference: DC54_1788962886As an Electrical Construction Manager within a data centre environment, you'll lead the full electrical delivery across hyperscale, colocation, and mission‑critical builds. You'll manage installation, testing, commissioning, and energisation of the systems that keep high‑availability facilities online - HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, busbar, containment, earthing, lighting, and all critical interfaces.This role is for someone who understands that data centres demand absolute precision. You'll coordinate subcontractors, drive programme performance, resolve technical challenges, and ensure every electrical milestone is delivered safely, on time, and to specification. Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical delivery leadership - Own the electrical construction package from installation through to commissioning and client handover.Critical systems oversight - Manage HV/LV distribution, UPS systems, generators, switchgear, busbar, containment, lighting, earthing, and lightning protection.Subcontractor management - Lead electrical subcontractors, supervisors, and direct labour to ensure safe, efficient, high‑quality delivery.Programme & logistics control - Short‑term look‑ahead planning, sequencing, labour allocation, materials management, and coordination with mechanical and architectural teams.Quality, testing & commissioning - Implement ITPs, conduct inspections, manage snagging, support energisation, IST (Integrated Systems Testing), and final client acceptance.Safety leadership - Review RAMS, manage permits, lead toolbox talks, and uphold strict HSE compliance in a high‑risk, high‑voltage environment.
