Food Production Operative

Join our team at A La Carte (Staffline) Leicester! We are recruiting for Food Production Operatives to work across multiple food manufacturing sites in Leicester (LE1, LE3 and LE4). This is your chance to be part of a leading British food business producing some of the nation's favourite savoury products. This role involves working in a fast-paced production environment, supporting the preparation and packaging of food products. We offer ongoing work with temp-to-perm opportunities, giving you the chance to secure a long-term role. No previous experience is required - you will receive full, paid training from day one. Please note: All candidates must have a good level of spoken and written English. Due to shift requirements, this role is not suitable for students. Shifts available: We offer a variety of shift patterns and hours, including: - Standard 8-Hour Rotations: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm / 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm / 10:00 pm - 6:00 am - 12-Hour Shifts: 6:00 am - 6:00 pm / 6:00 pm - 6:00 am / 2:00 pm - 2:00 am Pay rates: - AM/PM shifts (Mon - Fri): £12.86 per hour - Sunday (AM/PM): £13.51 per hour - Night shifts (Mon - Fri): £14.15 per hour - Sunday nights: £14.85 per hour Your Time at Work As a Food Production Operative, your duties will include: - Preparing raw ingredients (washing, cutting, measuring) - Operating machinery to mix, cook, bake, or process food - Following recipes and production instructions accurately - Packing finished goods into containers and packaging - Cleaning work areas, equipment, and tools regularly - Following instructions from line leaders or managers Our Perfect Worker We are looking for reliable and motivated individuals who can work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
