Lettings Manager

Lettings Manager | Harrogate | £35,000+ I'm working with an established property business in Harrogate that is looking for an experienced Lettings Manager to join their team. This is a genuinely varied role covering both lettings management , ideal for someone who enjoys having ownership of their portfolio and building strong relationships with landlords and tenants. The role will include: • Conducting market appraisals and advising landlords on pricing and marketing • Managing the lettings process from instruction through to tenancy commencement • Handling referencing, Right to Rent checks and tenancy documentation • Advising landlords on legislation, compliance and available services • Managing the ongoing tenancy and acting as the key contact for landlords and tenants • Coordinating maintenance, repairs and contractors • Carrying out property inspections and arranging follow-up works • Managing inventories, check-ins/check-outs and deposit deductions • Overseeing property compliance including gas, electrical, EPC, fire safety and alarms • Monitoring certificates and ensuring renewals are completed on time • Managing rent collection, arrears and debtor control alongside the Accounts team • Dealing with queries and resolving issues quickly and professionally What they're looking for: • Previous experience within residential lettings or property management • Strong knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Strong organisation and ability to manage a busy workload • Confidence dealing with landlords, tenants and contractors • A proactive, solutions-focused approach • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Harrogate £35,000+ If you're an experienced lettings/property professional looking for a role where you can take real ownership across both lettings and property management , I'd be keen to speak with you.
