HE Administrative Support Worker, Leeds
About the role
This role is 35 weeks per year, and 22.5 hours per week.
Monday - 9am to 3pm, Tuesday - 10am to 3pm, Thursday 9am - 3pm & Friday - 9am to 2:30pm.
At University Centre Leeds we are currently seeking a reliable and proactive HE Administrative Support Officer to provide tailored support to a member of our academic team within the Early Years and Health subject areas. This role is designed to assist a lecturer to enable them to continue delivering high-quality teaching and engaging effectively with students. We’re looking for someone to be part of our supportive team.

*The actual pro rata salary for this role is commencing at £12,921 per annum.
What You Will Do- Working closely with the lecturer to provide personalised administrative support to enable them to continue teaching
- Set up and run the powerpoint slide show while the lecturer is presenting
- Provide assistance with marking i.e. reading aloud student answers
- Note taking as and when required
- Inputting information into the different systems accurately
- Must have excellent IT skills with familiarity with Microsoft and Google Applications
- Have a qualification at level 3 or above
- Experience in providing support or mentoring
- Previous experience in administration
- Able to accurately record information
- Strong understanding of the impact of disability on learning
- Flexibility as there maybe changes to the hours/days worked as dependant on teaching
