Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Foot Mobile Zones 1 & 2, London Portfolio | Up to £47,500 per annum
An excellent opportunity to join a well-established, family-run Facilities Management service provider with a strong presence across Central London. CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting on their behalf for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to manage a diverse portfolio of approximately 30 commercial buildings across Zones 1 & 2.
This is a foot mobile role involving travel between multiple sites, delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance with a primary focus on electrical systems. The ideal candidate will hold a recognised electrical qualification (C&G / NVQ) and bring a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, installation, and testing & inspection.
In return, you'll receive a competitive salary of up to £47,500, a Zones 1 & 2 travel card, excellent overtime opportunities, and genuine progression pathways — including support towards Qualifying Supervisor (QS) status.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 17:00
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites
Maintain and test emergency lighting and fire alarm systems
Complete electrical remedial works and small electrical installations
Service and maintain AHUs and FCUs, including filter changes and cleaning
Monitor BMS systems and conduct hot & cold checks
Keep all logbooks and compliance records accurate and up to date
Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors
Collaborate with and support fellow engineers across the portfolio
Provide technical guidance and support as requiredThis is a predominantly electrical role with minimal plumbing and fabric duties.

Electrically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3
17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations
JIB Gold Card holder
2391 Test & Inspection (desirable)
Proven experience in commercial building maintenance
Strong knowledge of building services
Multi-skilled with excellent communication and customer-facing skills
Comfortable working in a foot mobile, multi-site environment
