Connect Appointments is recruiting an HGV Technician to join a well-established industrial business based in Kirkcaldy. Our client operates a busy fleet within a heavy industrial environment, offering a structured career pathway to become a DAF certified HGV Technician - with pay increases and progression to back shift and call-out work for the right candidate. What's on offer? Full-time permanent position Monday to Thursday, 7am to 3:30pm and Friday, 7am to 2:30pm £35,000 per annum based on experience Overtime available at time and a half up to 10.5 hours and double time beyond that Clear career progression to DAF certified HGV TechnicianAs an HGV Technician, your duties will include: Driving HGV vehicles as required within the business operation Carrying out basic vehicle checks including tyre pressure, oil levels and wiper condition Supporting the maintenance team with general vehicle upkeep Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all safety standardsTo be considered as an HGV Technician, you will need: A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence Some mechanical knowledge or semi-skilled technician experience A willingness to develop and train towards full HGV technician certification A reliable, professional approach to workInterested in this HGV Technician role?
