Are you an experienced Transport Manager or Supervisor with a proven track record of leading transport operations, driving compliance and developing high-performing teams?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a multisite operation, taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of a busy transport team.

You’ll lead a diverse team of Drivers, Supervisors and Transport Office personnel, ensuring transport operations remain compliant, efficient and customer-focused while continually identifying opportunities to improve performance.

The Role

• Lead and manage transport operations across multiple depots
• Ensure full compliance with Operator Licence requirements, Drivers' Hours and transport legislation
• Oversee vehicle scheduling, route planning and operational resource management
• Manage transport budgets, monitor KPIs and identify efficiency improvements
• Investigate incidents, accidents and compliance issues, implementing corrective actions where required
• Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and transport documentation
• Deliver Toolbox Talks and support ongoing driver training and development
• Manage employee performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Build strong relationships with Operations, HR and key internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service levels
• Drive continuous improvement across transport operations

About You

• International Transport Manager CPC is essential
• Previous experience in a Transport Manager, Transport Compliance or Senior Transport Supervisor position
• Strong knowledge of Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive and Operator Licence compliance
• Proven leadership experience managing operational transport teams
• Experience managing budgets, KPIs and operational performance
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills
• IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office and transport compliance systems
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Flexible to travel between regional depots when required
