Java Contractor

Location: Belfast (Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite)
Contract: 6 Months
Start Date: Immediate (notice periods accommodated)

Join a leading global FinTech organisation developing high-performance, scalable applications in Java.

We are seeking an experienced Java Contractor with strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and big data technologies. You will design and build cloud-native Java applications that process large volumes of data within a mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain enterprise-scale Java applications

• Build and optimise solutions on Google Cloud Platform

• Work with large datasets and distributed systems

• Ensure application scalability, reliability, and performance

Required Skills:

• Strong Java development experience

• Hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience

• Big data / distributed systems experience

• Experience building scalable, high-performance systems

Desirable:

• FinTech or real-time data processing experience
