Night Shift Warehouse Operative

I am currently recruiting a Night Shift Warehouse Operative to join a successful and growing company based in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. The successful Night Shift Warehouse Operative will be responsible for picking stock, processing materials, loading vehicles using forklift, and carrying general warehouse housekeeping. Please note, you will start on a Monday – Friday 11am – 8pm shift during your training/probation period. You will then move to a Sunday – Thursday 8pm -5am shift. Night Shift Warehouse Operative Responsibilities * Ensure materials are picked, packed & processed efficiently and in full, to meet customers’ delivery requirements. * Loading and unloading lorries in a safe and legal manner using forklift. * Carry out general warehouse housekeeping, ensuring all areas are kept tidy and safe. * Assist with stock checks. Night Shift Warehouse Operative Requirements: * The successful candidate must have a strong warehouse or logistics background, proven experience in a similar role. * Forklift license is essential. * Self-motivated. * Be able to commit to working permanently on nightshift with the flexibility to work late shifts during probation period. Night Shift Warehouse Operative Benefits: * £27,500 starting salary, rising after probation. * 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. * Company pension scheme. * Company profit share scheme.
