Labourer, up to £18.50 per hour, Immediate Start, Glasgow City Centre Benefits * Competitive hourly pay of £16.50 – £18.50 per hour * Ongoing contract with possible long-term extension * Stable weekday working hours with early Friday finish * Opportunity to work on varied structural steel and fabrication projects * Combination of workshop fabrication and on-site steel erection experience * Immediate start available for suitable candidates Responsibilities * Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, and Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm, with a 30-minute lunch break each day. * Fabricate balustrades, staircases, and structural steel beams to specification * Read and interpret technical engineering drawings accurately * Carry out steel fabrication work within a workshop environment in Holytown * Assist with on-site steel erection projects in Glasgow, including St Vincent Place * Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards * Maintain high levels of quality, precision, and productivity throughout projects * Participate in a practical trade test as part of the recruitment process Requirements * Previous experience in steel fabrication and structural steelwork * Proven experience fabricating balustrades and stair components * Ability to confidently read and work from technical drawings * Valid CSCS Card is essential * Experience assisting with steel erection on construction sites preferred * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team
