Sous Chef

We currently have a position available in our kitchen for a sous chef. While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required. This position is a varied role within a busy hotel kitchen. Catering for residents, guests, weddings and functions, you will need to have previous experience within a busy kitchen and Salary is Negotiable We are looking for the following qualities and experience: You will have experience working in a restaurant/hotel kitchen You will be passionate about working with food cooked to order in a fast-paced environment You will have high standards and a good eye for detail You will ensure all dishes are cooked to high standards whilst being delivered at speed You will thrive working under pressure and being part of a busy team You will have great planning and organisational skills You will have a good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety. You will be able to lead a team and assist the head chef in the management of the kitchen Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards Keep waste to a minimum Carry out any reasonable duty to assist in the smooth running of the kitchen Experience Is Essential.
