Quality Assurance Engineer

Quality Assurance Engineer (4-Day Week) Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (Depending on Experience) Location: Birmingham Working Pattern: 4 Days per Week 39 hrs We are working on behalf of established manufacturing business seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support their growing operations. The Role: You will play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards across the business, working closely with production, engineering, and customers. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and support APQP and PPAP processes (FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, PSW, etc.) * Support new product introduction in line with quality systems * Maintain and update quality documentation and process controls * Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits * Investigate internal and external quality issues using 8D / 5 Whys * Support supplier quality and customer complaint resolution * Assist with calibration systems and gauge studies (MSA) * Ensure drawing control and documentation is up to date What We’re Looking For: * Experience within a manufacturing / automotive quality environment * Strong knowledge of Automotive Core Tools * Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills * Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally What’s On Offer: * 4-day working week (excellent work-life balance) * Competitive salary
