Streetworks Officer/Inspector

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Streetworks Officer/Inspector to join their team on a contract basis. This role is integral to ensuring street and highway works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with legislation and permit conditions. Key Responsibilities: Inspecting street works to ensure compliance with NRSWA, permit schemes, and codes of practice Identifying defects, non-compliance, and safety issues, and taking appropriate enforcement action Liaising with utility companies, contractors, and internal teams Recording inspections and findings accurately using electronic systems Supporting the coordination of works to minimise disruption to the public Job Requirements: Experience in street works, highways, or inspection roles Good working knowledge of NRSWA and associated regulations Strong attention to detail and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage inspections across the network If you are an experienced professional looking for a new opportunity to contribute to the highways sector, we would love to hear from you.
