Careers and Pathways Leader Part-Time, Permanent Salary: £11,343 - £12,856 per annum Location: Taunton, Somerset Start Date: ASAP About the Role We are seeking a motivated and inspiring Careers and Pathways Leader to join our school in Taunton, part of a forward-thinking Multi Academy Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about supporting young people to make informed decisions about their futures and to raise aspirations across the school community. Working on a part-time, permanent basis, you will lead on the strategic development and delivery of the school's careers programme, ensuring it meets the Gatsby Benchmarks and supports all students in achieving their ambitions. Key Responsibilities Plan, implement, and evaluate a high-quality careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG) programme Provide impartial careers advice and guidance to students across key stages Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, colleges, training providers and other external partners Organise careers events, including fairs, workshops, and employer encounters Support students with progression pathways, including post-16 and post-18 options Work closely with senior leaders, teaching staff and pastoral teams to embed careers education across the curriculum Track and monitor student destinations and progression outcomes Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice frameworksAbout You We are looking for someone who: Has experience in careers education, guidance, or a related field Has a strong understanding of post-16 and post-18 pathways (including apprenticeships, further education, and higher education) Is highly organised, proactive, and able to manage their own workload effectively Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Is committed to promoting equality of opportunity and raising aspirations for all students Ideally holds, or is willing to work towards, a relevant careers qualification (e.g. Level 6 in Careers Guidance) Benefits of Working with Monarch Education: GCA Approved Supplier opportunity to enhance your CPD portfolio through our Affinity Academy free Safeguarding training refer a friend scheme - £200 bonus (you can make unlimited referrals) online portal to manage your pay and timesheets To learn more about us and what makes Monarch one of the leading education recruitment providers nationwide - please visit our website - Affinity Workforce Solutions and Monarch Education are committed to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children and young people and expects all its temporary workers to share these commitments.
