About the role

We're looking for a Training Coordinator to join our team in Ebbw Vale. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent organisational skills, and wants to play a key role in developing our colleagues while ensuring we continue to meet the highest standards of compliance, food safety and operational excellence.

Job Title: Training Coordinator– Chilled Food Manufacturing

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 8:30 - 5:00

Location: The Compleat Food Group, Ebbw Vale, Rassau Industrial Estate, NP23 5SD

Salary: Between £30,000 to £35,000 per annum

What You’ll Be Doing

At The Compleat Food Group, we believe that our people are our greatest ingredient. As our Training Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of creating a positive learning culture, delivering engaging inductions, maintaining training records, supporting digital learning systems, and helping colleagues build the skills they need to thrive.

  • Deliver engaging and informative inductions to all new starters before their first shift.
  • Ensure every colleague has the knowledge, confidence and support they need from day one.
  • Deliver Food Safety Level 2 and Safety Hour training.
  • Track induction completion and manage our 12-week onboarding journey.
  • Coordinate refresher training to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Help identify training needs by analysing performance data and working closely with managers and trainers.
  • Highlight training gaps and recommend effective learning solutions.
  • Research external training providers and development opportunities.
  • Support the creation of engaging learning materials and blended learning resources.
  • Maintain accurate training records across multiple factory areas.
  • Be a key contact for colleagues using CompleatLearning and Redzone, helping resolve technical queries and supporting system adoption.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams, site trainers and colleagues across the business.

You’ll be someone who genuinely enjoys helping others learn and develop.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • A collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships.
  • An understanding of the importance of equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • Experience or awareness of Learning & Development within a business.
  • Confidence delivering presentations or training sessions.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems or digital learning platforms.
