Estimator – Highways

Job ID: 6686Salary: 50000 - 60000Location: South East & LondonRegion: London, South EastWe are currently looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to be based in Hertfordshire.Working for a market leading contractor infrastructure & highways and you will require a min 4 years experience.You will be required to support the delivery of a wide range of civils and highways related projects across the SE and London.Responsibilities:Log all Tenders in / out of Tender System.Take off ability using adobe Pro or CAD.Complete financial tender documents and tender submission/delivery arrangements.Scanning and electronic file transfers into the Estimating System.Tender data analysis in Excel, e.g. Sub Contractors/ Suppliers rates.Estimating from first principles.Understand and produce tender programmes with assistance.Actively foster positive staff morale.Risk analysis of schemes.Value Engineering and assessment of opportunities to add value to tenders.Willingly carry out any reasonable task as requested by a member of estimating team.Experience with civil schemes.Knowledge of NEC forms of contractConfidentGood communicatorIf this role is of interest please call us on and ask to speak to James within the highways team.
