Location: Town Hall, St Ives Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire, SL6 1RF (Hybrid Working)
Rate: £38 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Ongoing Contract
Working Pattern: Hybrid

An excellent opportunity has become available for an Occupational Therapist to join the Front Door Team at the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead. This is a rewarding role for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about supporting adults to maintain their independence through timely, person‑centred assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments.
• Support adults with physical disabilities and age‑related needs.
• Recommend equipment, adaptations, and moving and handling solutions where appropriate.
• Develop person‑centred care and support plans.
• Work collaboratively with health, social care, and community partners.
• Manage a varied caseload while ensuring high‑quality and timely interventions.

Qualifications

• A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and current HCPC registration.
• Previous experience working within Adult Social Care.
• Experience completing functional assessments and recommending equipment and adaptations.
• Strong assessment, communication, and case management skills.
• Ability to work independently within a fast‑paced service.
