Mechanical Shift Engineer

Mechanical Shift Engineer - Client Direct - Barbican - Temp to perm Exciting opportunity to work at a commercial campus situated by in Whitechapel. CBW are currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer to cover a commercial campus. The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified (C&G or NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This is temp to perm position with an immediate start. He or she will be required to carry out mechanical maintenance to the following; Key duties & Responsibilities Carry out all aspects of M&E maintenance Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution) Emergency lighting tests Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning) Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing) Plumbing - Unblocking toilets BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds) Escort / organise sub contractors Attend client meetings if required Ensure site log books are kept up to dateHours of work 4 on 4 off, nights only 07:00 - 19:00, 19:00pm - 07:00amPackage Salary of £48,000 + £4,000 shift allowance Hourly rate up to £27p/h On call payment + attendance payment if called out  Temp to permanent contractRequirements Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 3 Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates Must be immediately available  A proven track record in commercial building maintenance Multi-skilled Good communication skillsPlease send your CV to (url removed) to apply or for more information
