Mechanical and Electrical Estimator

Job Title: Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Estimator Location: Rayleigh, Essex Rate: From £350 per day (depending on experience) Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Estimator to join our client on a contract basis in Rayleigh, Essex. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in building services who can accurately price projects and contribute to successful tender submissions. Key Responsibilities * Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical and electrical projects across commercial and/or residential sectors * Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates * Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors * Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients Requirements * Proven experience as an M&E Estimator within the construction or building services industry * Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and installations
