Teaching Assistant Location: Islington, North London Start Date: September 2025 Contract: Full-time | Term-Time Only Salary: £95-£105 a day Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education and helping them thrive in the classroom? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Islington. Key Responsibilities: Provide classroom support to teachers across a range of subjects Work with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups to support learning Assist in preparing classroom resources and materials Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment Support students with additional needs to ensure they have full access to the curriculum The Ideal Candidate: Has experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential) Is patient, proactive, and adaptable Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills Is passionate about education and supporting young people Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one) Whether you're an experienced TA or a recent graduate considering a career in education, this role could be the perfect next step for you
