Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

• Undertake safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act 2014, investigating concerns of abuse and neglect.
• Complete strength-based assessments, care reviews, risk assessments and Mental Capacity Assessments.
• Develop and implement safeguarding plans to protect vulnerable adults and promote positive outcomes.
• Work closely with multi-agency partners including Health, Police, Care Providers and Advocacy Services.
• Manage a complex caseload involving adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health needs and older people.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate case records in line with legislation, policies and statutory guidance.
• Support individuals to make informed decisions, promoting autonomy and least restrictive practice.
• Attend safeguarding meetings, case conferences and best interest meetings, ensuring effective risk management and person-centred practice.
