About the role

Associate Mechanical Engineer | Birmingham | Hybrid

Up to £75k

Most Associate roles come with a quiet expectation that you'll spend half your week chasing fees and the other half explaining why you haven't. This one doesn't.

I'm working with an independent MEP and sustainability consultancy looking for an Associate to lead its Mechanical team in Birmingham. They want someone who is strong on delivery, enjoys leading a team and takes pride in getting projects out of the door properly. Business development stays with the Director but you're welcome to get stuck in also. Your part is delivering well enough that clients come back.

They've been clear that they would rather wait for the right person than hire the available one. If you're not actively looking but are curious about a role built around delivery and team leadership, it's worth a conversation.
