Substation Fitter

Role: Substation Fitter Location: Killin, Perthshire, FK21 8UA Rate: £34.00 per hour PAYE Hours: 07:30 - 18:00 (Monday - Friday) Duration: Two months Our client, a leading infrastructure contractor delivering major power and energy projects across the UK, is currently seeking experienced HV Substation Fitters to join the team based in Killin. SSE authorisations are not required; however, candidates must have previous HV substation experience. Important: This role is not suitable for mechanical-only fitters. As a Substation Fitter, your duties will include: Installing and assembling HV substation equipment (primary plant) Supporting mechanical and electrical installation works on site Assisting with testing and commissioning activities Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics Ensuring all work is carried out in line with site health & safety proceduresThe successful Substation Fitter must have: Proven experience working on HV substations (11kV-400kV) EUSR Utility SHEA Power Manual Handling Emergency First Aid at Work COSHH Awareness Fire Safety AwarenessIf you are interested in this Substation Fitter position based in Killin, Perthshire, FK21 8UA , please apply and the team will be in touch.
